We have many markets to bet on to spice up your betting experience! A fan-favourite are the markets related to different maps in a match.

What does "map" mean in the game?

Esports competitions occur at various levels, from local and regional events to international tournaments. Each tournament will have its own format and rules, but typically, esports matches are played over a series of games to determine a winner.

The match formats commonly used are Best-of-One (Bo1), Best-of-Three (Bo3) and Best-of-Five (Bo5) series through different stages of a tournament.

So you'll find that "map" refers to each round or game in the series (match). Map 1 means Game 1, Map 2 means Game 2, and so on.

What is a Map Market?

If you bet on a Map X - Winner Market (e.g. Map 2 - Winner), you are essentially betting on who will win on that specific game or round (Map 2), not on the whole series itself.

You can also find different markets for each map when available.

For example, here we could place a bet on who will score the most kills (Map 2 - Team to Score the Most Kills) or which team will draw first blood (Map 2 - Team to Draw First Blood) in game 2 of the series 👇

How does this differ from a Match Winner Market?

If you want to bet on the winner of the whole series, you will have to bet on the Match Winner market.

In the Betcenter, you'll see which market is offered on the left side. You can hover over the market name and catch some quick info on what's displayed.

If you're on the Match page, you can toggle between the different types of markets available for that specific series.

Remember that your market choice will always be visible in your bet slip to the right 👆
